Bill Garrett Named Scout Executive of Del-Mar-Va Council
We are pleased to announce the selection of Bill Garrett as Scout executive of Del-Mar-Va Council in Wilmington, Delaware, effective May 1.
Bill began his Scouting career as a district executive at Buckskin Council in Charleston, West Virginia. He then served in various positions with Simon Kenton Council in Columbus, Ohio, as well as at Minsi Trails Council in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
He was promoted to Scout executive of Revolutionary Trails Council in Utica, New York, in 2008 and then at Hawk Mountain Council in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he has served since 2012.
Bill is a STEM Scout leader who enjoys coaching youth soccer, mountain biking, family, and fishing. He and his wife, Sheila, have two daughters.
