Join us in congratulating Don Olsen as Scout Executive of the Far East Council in Okinawa, Japan, effective October 11, 2016.

Don began his Scouting career as district executive and senior district executive at the Utah National Parks Council in Provo, Utah. He moved on to become the district director and later program director with the Great Alaska Council in Anchorage, Alaska. He was promoted to Scout Executive of the Potomac Council, Cumberland, Maryland, and on to director of field services for Glacier’s Edge Council in Madison, Wisconsin.

Don is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow and a lifelong Scout who enjoys camping, fishing, woodworking, and shooting sports.
