Join Some of the Industry’s Top Leaders at the BSA Sustainability Summit

The BSA’s 2014 Sustainability Summit at the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia on Oct. 27-30 is fast approaching. This platform will enable you to create a unique sustainability vision that can help you grow your membership, raise more money, and make a tremendous impact in your community.

Thought leaders from the industry along with BSA national leadership, including Chief Scout Executive Wayne Brock, will be giving presentations on how to leverage the BSA’s sustainability efforts in your council. If you have not made plans yet, please consider attending with your volunteer leaders, especially those that have a passion for sustainability or simply want to know more. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to visit the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.

We are providing scholarships for staff and volunteers who would like to attend but can’t currently afford it. Contact Loretta Sheets for how to apply for the scholarship. To register and learn more, visit BSA’s 2014 Sustainability Summit. To give you a preview about the event, here’s a short video from John Stewart, the BSA’s Sustainability director:
