Martin Sepulveda Selected as Scout Executive of South Texas Council

Congratulations to Martin “Marty” Sepulveda, who will serve as Scout executive of South Texas Council in Corpus Christi, Texas, effective August 16, 2017.

Marty began his Scouting career as a district executive at Gulf Coast Council in Corpus Christi, Texas. He moved on to become a senior district executive and later field director with South Texas Council in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was promoted to field director of Capitol Area Council in Austin, Texas, and then to director of support service.

He was promoted to assistant Scout executive of South Texas Council, and moved on to assistant director of field service of Sam Houston Area Council in Houston, Texas, followed by a promotion to director of field service.

Marty is an Eagle Scout who enjoys reading, Texas history, hiking, kayaking, and going to the beach. He and his wife, Liz, have three children.
