Northern New Jersey Council Welcomes New Scout Executive

Please join us in celebrating the selection of Rebecca Fields as Scout executive of the Northern New Jersey Council in Oakland, New Jersey, effective November 28, 2016.

Rebecca began her Scouting career as a district executive at the Chicago Area Council. She moved on to become the senior Exploring executive, finance director, assistant director of field service and, later, senior finance director with the Chicago Area Council.

She was promoted to director of special events/marketing and then director of finance services of the Detroit Area Council, and then as Scout executive of the Los Padres Council in Santa Barbara, CA.

Rebecca has served successfully as the Western Region Talent Manager supporting local councils in filling their professional vacancies and providing career coaching to their staff for the past two years.
