Old North State Council Welcomes New Scout Executive

EdMartinCongratulations to Ed Martin who will begin serving as Scout Executive of the Old North State Council on May 1, 2016.

Ed started his Scouting career as a district executive at the Central Florida Council in Orlando, Fla and then served as the field director. He was then the finance director and later the director of field service with the North Florida Council in Jacksonville, Fla. He served the Northwest Texas Council in Wichita Falls, TX, as the Scout Executive and then moved on to be the Scout Executive of the Black Warrior Council in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Ed enjoys outdoor adventures, physical fitness, and travel. He and his wife, Sarah, have one daughter, Aubrey.

Martin joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of the Old North State Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities they serve. Wish him well in the comments below!
