Strengthening Youth Through Scouting Kits Are Heading Your Way

As you know, chartered organizations are the backbone of Scouting. There has never been a more important time for all of us to engage with current and potential chartered organizations.

Over the next few days, your council will be receiving a shipment of kits designed to help your staff in these conversations. To help you tell the Scouting story, the kits include several important tools:

• The new Strengthening Youth Through Scouting brochure. This brochure is specifically designed to give an overview of Scouting with special information just for potential chartered organizations. It’s a great conversation starter and leave-behind piece. Each folder contains a brochure, and additional quantities may be ordered from bin storage.
• Messages for religious and community organizations, as well as key points about our leadership standards.
• A list of resources such as the Faith in Scouting video series and the new Scouting’s for Families Like Mine testimonial videos.
• Highlights of statements of support from our chartered organizations and national religious committees. Additional statements will be shared as they become available.
