What’s Your Favorite Pinewood Derby Memory? Share and You Could Win Big!

It’s Pinewood Derby season and time to enter the annual Pinewood Derby Photo Contest! By sharing a snapshot of your favorite Derby moment, you’ll qualify for a chance to win a $100 gift card from ScoutStuff.org.

“The Pinewood Derby is an iconic Cub Scouting activity. This contest allows our fans to share their most memorable cars, past or present, with our community,” said Darin Kinn, Marketing Manager for the Boy Scouts of America younger youth programs. “The Pinewood Derby Photo Contest aims to inspire others to build cars with today’s Cub Scouts as we celebrate a tradition that is more than 60 years old.”

How to Enter the Pinewood Derby Photo Contest

From February 13 – March 10, upload a photograph of your favorite Pinewood Derby moment and share a caption about what made that moment so special to you. To qualify, become a fan of the official Cub Scouts Facebook page and then simply upload your photo to the “Pinewood Derby Photo Contest” tab on the Cub Scouts Facebook page. You can also follow Cub Scouts on Instagram or Twitter and share your photo using those platforms, tagging #MyPinewoodDerbyCar @theCubScouts. The entry can be from this year, or any previous Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby!

Two winners will be selected at random every Friday throughout the duration of the contest. The winners will be contacted via email to confirm their mailing address, and then a $100 ScoutStuff gift card will be mailed to that address.
