Winterfest 2017 Is Coming!

Northeast Georgia Council’s 2017 Winterfest celebration promises to be one of the best and largest yet –dozens of events have been added and revised to keep the program fresh. In fact, the event has so many activities to choose from, you couldn’t even do them all in one weekend! So choose your activities wisely by taking a look at the official Winterfest Events Guide and see which Winterfest favorites are back, and what new adventures have been introduced.

Winterfest 2017 is set for February 10-12, 2017, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Posts, ships, crews, and troops (ages 14 and older) will experience an exciting weekend of competition and activities unmatched by any other weekend event in the United States!

Winterfest is open to all currently registered Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts, and Explorers, ages 14 and older. Whether your unit might be interested in Explorer exercises, greatly expanded Venturing events (led by the Southern Region’s Venturing leadership team), or a number of new walk-up events, there will be plenty of new opportunities to have the best winter weekend ever.
