Give Your Council’s Exploring Program a Summer Refresh

Give Your Council’s Exploring Program a Summer Refresh

The latest Exploring marketing materials have arrived!

It may only be July, but recruitment will be here before we know it. Whether you’re looking to leverage new assets on social media, or want to polish your local business presentation, these materials will give your council’s Exploring program a fresh look and feel to kick start fall.

  • Marketing & Membership Hub for Exploring – Now, you can easily navigate to the most effective sales and recruitment tools to grow your Exploring programs.
  • Career-specific PSA videos – Did you know your local television stations will run public service announcements (PSAs) at no cost? The good news is, we’ve already taken care of the hard part. Simply email these 30-second career-specific PSAs to your local stations and ask them to play these clips as often as possible through a certain date. Aim to run these PSAs in the summer to drum up interest in Exploring before open houses this fall.
  • Club anthem and Career Interest Survey videos – The BSA Marketing team has been working hard to bring you even more testimonial assets to wow future Explorers and advisors. Check out the two newest videos featuring Exploring clubs and the Career Interest Survey below.

These are just the latest materials—be sure to read up on the rest of this summer’s Exploring marketing tools here.

Tip: Speak the language of local business

If you want to show a local business owner how they can benefit from establishing a new post or club, one great tool is a video explaining how Exploring impacts businesses– and communities– like their own. And who better to hear it from than Tom Donohue, President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce? Learn more about Tom’s Exploring endorsement here.
