Honoring Our Veterans

Honoring Our Veterans

It’s always inspiring to witness how many communities involve Scouting in their annual Veterans Day observances.

Whether it’s placing flags on military grave sites, marching in parades or holding a recognition breakfast, Scouting plays a major role in honoring those currently serving our country, those service men and women who have passed away, and those who have given their lives to protect our freedom.

I’m going to let these photos from past Veterans Day events involving Scouting do most of the talking for the rest of this blog.

This Veterans Day, I ask that you take some time to be with friends and family, to enjoy our freedom as a nation and remember those who are currently serving, have served or made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty keeping our country safe from all enemies, both at home and overseas.

God bless our men and women in the U.S. armed forces!

Thanks, Wayne
