Baden-Powell Council Welcomes New Scout Executive

Beginning May 1, 2015, Richard Christ will join the ranks of the Baden-Powell Council in Binghamton, N.Y., as the new Scout Executive. With an impressive Scouting background and a passion for delivering quality Scouting experiences, Rick will be an incredible asset to the team.
Rick began his Scouting career as a district executive at the Minsi Trails Council in Lehigh Valley, Pa., where he went on to serve in several other roles including district director, Scoutreach director, director of support services and director of field service. He was promoted to director of support services for the Cradle of Liberty Council in Philadelphia, and then returned to the Minsi Trails Council as assistant Scout executive.
Rick is an Eagle Scout who enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and spending time with his family. Rick and his wife, Ann Marie, have two children.
