Brian Nastase Named Scout Executive of Quivira Council

Brian Nastase Named Scout Executive of Quivira Council

Congratulations to Brian J. Nastase who will serve as Scout executive of Quivira Council in Wichita, Kansas, effective April 1, 2017.

Brian began his Scouting career in February 1994 as the Exploring executive with Sioux Council in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He moved on to become a family teacher with Boys Town and later joined the Mid-America Council staff as a district executive in Omaha, Nebraska. Brian worked his way up to the position of director of field service and was then promoted to Scout executive of Lake Huron Area Council in Auburn, Michigan, in 2008. In 2012, Brian was promoted to deputy Scout executive of Michigan Crossroads Council in Lansing, Michigan.

Brian is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, running, and the outdoors.

He and his wife, Colleen, have three boys — all of whom are involved in the Scouting program as youth members.

Please join us in congratulating Brian as he joins the volunteers and staff of the Quivira Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities they serve. Help us welcome Brian as he begins his new role by posting in the comments below!
