Boy Scouts Explore “What Makes Robots Work” at SXSWedu

Group of scouts getting their picture taken with their robot at the Robotics MBP Vex Competition in Orlando FLBefore the bands, films, and Hollywood stars pour into Austin, TX, for South by Southwest (SXSW), Scouts shook up the SXSWedu Pearson Learning Lounge yesterday. In a presentation titled, “Boy Scouts Explore ‘What Makes Robots Work,'” Scouts demoed some pretty awesome technology.

As part of the BSA’s mission to weave technology into life-changing experiences, we continue to set the pace for cutting edge programs for youth. And when the landscape of how kids absorb information changes, so do their interests: think cool things like robotics!

And keep stopping by Scouting Wire for photos and thoughts on how this event could positively affect your council’s recruiting efforts!
