Check Out This New Wild Attraction at the Summit

Have you ever come face-to-face with a bear in the wilderness? Well if you visit the Summit Bechtel Reserve you’ll be able to claim you have!

Ok, ok, you won’t be greeted by a real bear –  you’ll run into a 2-D painting of a bear featured in the Summit’s new mural at the Scott Visitor Center.

Artists Josh Cochran and his assistant Courtney Menard spent an entire week crafting the Scouting scene. Entitled “B-B-Bear,” the mural is fittingly named after the grizzly itself and showcases the fun and adventures awaiting visitors at the Summit.

Check out the video below to see the artists working at super-sonic speed to finish the mural from start to finish. Learn more about the artists behind the mural by reading the full story on the Summit blog and let us know in the comments below what you think about this new addition to the Summit experience!
