Clinton Hammett Selected as Scout Executive of Colonial Virginia Council

Join us as we congratulate Clinton Hammett, who will serve as Scout executive of Colonial Virginia Council in Newport News, Virginia, effective May 1, 2018.

Clinton began his Scouting career as a district executive at Revolutionary Trails Council in Utica, New York. He moved on to National Capital Area Council in Bethesda, Maryland, where he served in a number of roles, including senior district executive, district director, field director, and, finally, Chief Development Officer.

Clinton is a member of the Order of the Arrow and has completed Wood Badge training. He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, golf, and entertaining. He and his wife, Symone, have two children, Gunner and Harlow.
