Congrats to New Rio Grande Council Scout Executive
Rudy Gonzalez will take on the role of Scout executive for the Rio Grande Council in Harlingen, TX, starting May 16. With his passion for Scouting and youth development, Rudy heads into this new role with enthusiasm.
He began his Scouting career as an intern and then district executive at the Sam Houston Area Council in Houston. He moved on to become the senior district executive with the Sam Houston Area Council. He was promoted to district director of the Circle Ten Council in Dallas and moved on to business development specialist, membership specialist, and performance coach at the National Service Center in Irving, TX.
Rudy has an extensive Scouting background as an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow.
Join us in welcoming Rudy to the Rio Grande Council as we wish him luck in the position of Scout executive.
