Create Awareness Through Endangered Species Youth Art Contest

Looking for a creative tie-in for your Scouts’ environmental science or wildlife conservation activities? Look no further!

The 2014 Saving Endangered Species Youth Art Contest is accepting entries through March 15, 2014. Students in kindergarten through grade 12 are eligible to enter.

Artwork should highlight one or more endangered species. Entrants are encouraged to depict species in their area. For photos and information on endangered species, visit www.fws.gov/endangered.

Winners will be chosen in four categories:

  • Kindergarten–Grade 2
  • Grades 3–5
  • Grades 6–8
  • Grades 9–12

The contest is organized by the Endangered Species Coalition, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the International Child Art Foundation, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
