Day Camp Communication Made Easy

Day Camp Communication Made Easy

Day camp madness is descending upon Cub Scout packs around the country. At least, it might feel like madness for the volunteers striving to strike organization in the dash to get kids outdoors this summer. But with the perfect combo of positivity, brevity, and directness, pack volunteers can get day camp season off to a smooth start with communication strategies as simple as letters and emails.

Scout mom Amanda proved the perfect post to Facebook helped parents have a clear understanding of what the pack needed and the parent support required in anticipation of a day camp outing. Take a note from Amanda and borrow some of her great prose (including a pretty comprehensive day camp must-bring checklist) by heading to Cub Hub.

Then, share with us the most effective way you’ve found to reach Cub Scout parents for regular pack updates. Take the poll below!
