Download the Adventure On! App to Attend the 2017 National Annual Meeting
2017 is the year to bring the excitement of Scouting to the forefront – it is time to Adventure On!
BSA volunteers and staff will never miss a beat while attending the 2017 National Annual Meeting thanks to the new Adventure On! app. That’s right – the 2017 National Annual Meeting has gone digital which means you’ll access your personalized NAM schedule and resources through the convenience of your smart phone.
Why You Need the Adventure On! App at National Annual Meeting
In alignment with our environmentally-conscious Scouting values, the National Annual Meeting will be (mostly) paperless. A new mobile app will digitally provide the materials participants received in paper packets at the onsite registration desk in previous years. The only item you will receive at the registration desk is your identification badge which will also contain a QR code for meal ticketing.
To access your personal schedule, general information on the hotel, and electronic copies of the agenda and materials for your meetings and events, please be sure to bring your smartphone, tablet, or laptop computer.
If you must print resources, you may access the web version of the app from your desktop or laptop computer. You can download and print any of the meeting materials you’d prefer to have in paper to carry with you.
How to Download the Adventure On! App
After you register for National Annual Meeting, keep an eye out for an email containing a link to download the Adventure On! App on your mobile device. You may also search “Adventure On!” in your App store or Google Play. Log in using the National Annual Meeting registration email address and enter the password you created during registration to begin exploring the app before NAM.
How to Use the Adventure On! App
Once you’re logged in to the Adventure On! app community, let us know what you’re excited about before we get onsite!
Update your profile with your photo and bio and then check out the Discussions button on the home screen to start conversations about upcoming sessions, exhibits or resources you’d like to share with the entire NAM community. In Discussions, you can share tips, links, documents, blog posts and photos to help fuel the discussion.
You can also review your daily agenda, complete personalized schedule, maps of the venue, a list of all NAM attendees, speakers and exhibits, and any must-know announcements during the week in the Announcements button.
