Get Ready, Adventurers: Philmont’s 2018 Lottery Opens In October!

October 26 marks the official opening of the 2018 Philmont lottery! Philmont Scout Ranch offers thrilling treks through the New Mexico wilderness accompanied by incredible views and Scouting stories you’ll be sharing for years to come. Inarguably, this is a hiking experience unlike any other.

In fact, expeditions through this High-Adventure Base are so popular in the Scouting community that the current lottery is in place for treks two years from now. Luckily, this gives you time to prepare and sharpen your Scout skills for a seven, or even twelve-day trek adventure in 2018.

Needless to say, spots fill up quickly with Scouts and Scouters from all over the country and beyond, so make sure to enter the lottery soon for your 2018 summer adventure. Winners will be announced in December, 2016.
