How Eagle Scouts Can Visit the Scouting Museum for Free This Month
Eagle Scouts who want to stop by the National Scouting Museum in Irving, TX, Aug. 15-21, 2015, can get in for free, bond with fellow Scouters, and receive recognition for earning Scouting’s highest rank.
The 13th Eagle Scout Heritage Celebration kicks off at the National Scouting Museum on Sat., Aug. 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. You and your family (whether you’re an Eagle or not) are invited to attend.
Distinguished Eagle Scout Ed Pease will deliver a keynote address at the museum, followed by a reception for everyone in attendance.
But the celebration of Eagle Scouts from all generations doesn’t end the 15th. All week long, we’re asking you to recognize and remember the Eagle Scouts who have shaped our country and continue to better communities worldwide. During the week-long celebration at the National Scouting Museum, all Eagle Scouts can receive a commemorative patch (while supplies last) and free admission. Remember, that’s Aug. 15-21, 2015.
Please RSVP for the kick-off event by calling (800) 303-3047. For more information, visit the National Scouting Museum site.
The National Eagle Scout Heritage Celebration is made possible through a partnership between the National Scouting Museum and the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA). Thanks to NESA for helping make this event possible!
