How This Program Is Engineering the Leaders of Tomorrow

What’s the best thing about the Exploring program? Bridget Mason, mother of an engineering Explorer says it best in the latest Exploring testimonial video: “It gives kids the opportunity to really bring real, live experiences to life. They can touch it, they can feel it and it becomes a reality. They’re able to study about it more; they’re able to understand what it is that they want to do in life – what facet of it they want to do.”

Bridget’s son, Kimani of GE’s Engineering Exploring Post 2018, explains how the program ignited a passion in him to create and discover new things in ways he never would have expected. The program has even encouraged Kimani to pursue his interests further in college, and says Exploring has inspired a “heart felt drive” in him to continue studying engineering. What’s more, the Explorer also credits the program for introducing him to a supportive circle of friends that not only share his interests, but they also encourage him to purse them.
