Is Chivalry Dead? An Eagle Finds Out in This Video

Ask anyone, anywhere and you might get mixed responses to the age-old question – is chivalry dead? But quiz someone who knows a Scout and the answer is crystal clear. Chivalry is still kickin’ (and twerking!) today, and the BSA has decades of good turns to prove it.

As honorable, courteous, and just than any medieval knight, Eagle Scouts are the epitome of modern day chivalry. Sure, they open doors and usher passersby across the street, but Eagles take service a step further. Eagle Scouts are spearheading large-scale service projects, saving lives, and living the principles of the Scout Oath and Scout Law in everyday life.

In Independent Journal‘s comical video, real-life Eagle Scout Dave Jorgenson took to the streets to get to the bottom of what the masses believe is chivalrous and whether it’s still alive today.

Watch the video for yourself below and then head to Bryan on Scouting to learn more about this hilarious Eagle.

Also, take note what IJ had to say about their lighthearted shoutout to Scouting:

While this features a real Eagle Scout in uniform, this video is not affiliated with, nor was it produced by, the Boy Scouts of America. We have the utmost respect for the organization, especially their popcorn.
