James Milham Selected as Scout Executive of Hawk Mountain Council

Congratulations to Jim Milham, who will serve as Scout executive of Hawk Mountain Council in Reading, Pennsylvania, effective August 1, 2017.

Jim began his Scouting career as an Exploring executive at Southern New Jersey Council in Millville, New Jersey, where he went on to hold several positions, including senior district executive, district director, and finance director. He moved on to become the director of finance and, later, director of field service with Baltimore Area Council in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2010, he was promoted to Scout executive of Stonewall Jackson Area Council in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Jim is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow who enjoys hunting and the outdoors. He also serves as an assistant Scoutmaster for his son’s troop, where his son is a Life Scout working on his Eagle Project.

Jim and his wife, Margie, have three children: Emily, Abby, and James.

Please join us in welcoming Jim as he joins the volunteers and staff of the Hawk Mountain Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the communities they serve.
