John “Jay” Garee Selected as Scout Executive of Daniel Webster Council

Please help us welcome  John “Jay” Garee to his new position as Scout executive of Daniel Webster Council in Manchester, New Hampshire, effective July 15, 2017.

Jay began his Scouting career as a senior district executive at Finger Lakes Council in Geneva, New York. He moved on to become the director of field service and operations district director at Boston Minuteman Council in Boston, Massachusetts. He later became the Scout executive at Mohegan Council in Worcester, Massachusetts, and then at Theodore Roosevelt Council in Massapequa, New York.

Jay is an Eagle Scout, a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, and Hornaday Gold Badge recipient. He is the proud father of two Scouts, Owen (2nd Class) and Connor (Webelos).

In the comments below, help us congratulate Jay as he joins the volunteers and staff of Daniel Webster Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the communities they serve.
