Carlos Cortez will take on the role of Scout Executive for the Los Padres Council in California beginning March 9, 2015. With twelve years of professional experience under his belt, along with background in serving urban, suburban, and rural areas, Cortez will be a tremendous asset to the council.
“I am excited about the chance to help get more Central Coast youth involved in Scouting,” said Cortez. “Given today’s societal challenges, parents are looking for quality programs for their children, Scouting offers that opportunity, and more.”
