Mark Switzer Selected as Scout Executive of Twin Rivers Council

Join us as we congratulate Mark Switzer, who will serve as Scout executive of Twin Rivers Council in Albany, New York, effective January 16, 2018.

Mark was born and raised in Ithaca, New York, and began his Scouting career as a district executive at Del-Mar-Va Council in Wilmington, Delaware. He moved on to become senior district executive and later district director with the Narragansett Council in Providence, Rhode Island. He was promoted to field director of Chief Seattle Council in Seattle, Washington, and went on to serve as director of field service of Golden Empire Council in Sacramento, California. Mark most recently served as Scout executive of Western Colorado Council in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Mark is a Life Scout who enjoys time with family and friends, classic car restoration, and travel. He and his wife, Laura, have two daughters: Ellie, 9, and Harley, 12.
