Mark Your Calendars for Kids to Parks Day 2015!

KTPLogo_New_FINALAre you ready to go outside with your Scouts for a day of nationwide play? Of course you are! Communities across the country are joining in on a day of fun in the sun at their local, state, and national parks to celebrate the 5th Annual Kids to Parks Day, Saturday, May 16.

In partnership with the National Park Trust, the BSA encourages Scouts and their families to head to the nearest park and just have fun exploring the great outdoors! With more than 500,000 people estimated to participate, you won’t want to miss out on what’s becoming America’s “national day of play.”

“We are delighted to be working once again with the Boy Scouts of America to promote Kids to Parks Day,” said Grace Lee, executive director of National Park Trust. “In addition to cultivating leaders, Scouting teaches important lessons on how best to enjoy the outdoors and steward our parks and public lands.”
