Michael Jenkins Announced as the Scout Executive of Voyageurs Area Council

Join us as we congratulate Michael Jenkins, who will serve as Scout executive of the Voyageurs Area Council in Hermantown, Minnesota, effective June 16, 2017.

Michael’s Scouting career began as a district executive at the Grand Canyon Council in Phoenix, Arizona. He moved on to become the senior district executive and later district director with Denver Area Council in Denver, Colorado. He was promoted to director of field service of Trapper Trails Council in Ogden, Utah, followed by director of field service of Great Salt Lake Council in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Michael is an Eagle Scout who enjoys backpacking, hiking, sports, music, and dancing. He and his wife, Karen, have four children.
