Nathaniel Thornton Selected as Scout Executive of Allegheny Highlands Council

Congratulations to Nathaniel Thornton, who will serve as Scout executive of Allegheny Highlands Council in Falconer, New York, effective May 1, 2018.

Nate began his Scouting career as a district executive at Chief Okemos Council in Lansing, Michigan. He moved on to become the district director with Southwest Michigan Council in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and later development director with Southern Shores Field Service Council, part of the newly formed Michigan Crossroads Council. He was later promoted to director of development of La Salle Council in South Bend, Indiana.

Nate is a third-generation Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor Member of the Order of the Arrow who enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, reading, and camping. He and his wife, Krystal, have three children.
