Now This Is How You Promote Scouting for Food

When the Scouts of the San Diego-Imperial Council wanted to inform the members of their community that it was time for the annual Scouting for Food drive, they did what a lot of Scouts around the country do – they contacted their local media.

Getting the media involved is a great way to make sure the message gets out to the community. Of course, getting the media’s attention is only half the job. When you have the local news onboard, that’s when it’s your chance to really shine.

Enter Scout Leo P., a Webelos who really gets what Scouting for Food is all about.

We can’t do it justice with a paraphrase, so watch the video below to hear what Leo shared with the KUSI News team in San Diego.

Great job, Leo, and great job, Scouts!
