Raymond Eschenbach Selected as Scout Executive of Leatherstocking Council

Join us as we congratulate Raymond Eschenbach who will serve as Scout executive of Leatherstocking Council in Utica, New York, effective February 16, 2018.

Ray began his Scouting career as a district executive at Potomac Council in Cumberland, Maryland. He moved on to become the senior district executive and later district director with Revolutionary Trails Council in Utica, New York. He was promoted to senior development director of Longhouse Council in Syracuse, New York, and on to director of development of Hawk Mountain Council in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Ray is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow who enjoys hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He and his wife, Kristy, have two boys, Jacob and Noah, both of whom are very active in Scouting and working their way up the trail to Eagle.

In the comments, help us welcome Ray to his new role in the BSA as he joins the volunteers and staff of the Leatherstocking Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the communities they serve.
