Richard Stockton Selected as Scout Executive of Westchester-Putnam Council

Join us as we congratulate Richard Stockton, who will serve as Scout executive of Westchester-Putnam Council in Hawthorne, New York, effective October 9, 2017.

Rich began his Scouting career as a district executive at Cornhusker Council in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he was promoted to Exploring executive, program director, field director, and assistant Scout executive. He moved on to become the assistant Scout executive at Sioux Council in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and, later, Scout executive with Green Mountain Council in Waterbury, Vermont. In 2010, he was promoted to Scout executive of Twin Rivers Council in Albany, New York.

Rich is an Eagle Scout who enjoys backpacking, scuba diving, fitness, and family. He and his wife, Tammy, have one child.

Help us welcome Rich to his new role in Scouting as he joins the volunteers and staff of Westchester-Putnam Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the communities they serve.
