We’ve been blogging from the Chief’s office since November 2007. My predecessor, Bob Mazzuca, launched the concept with “Bob’s Blog” and I picked up the blogging baton under the newly titled “Chief’s Corner.” We’re continuing that tradition here on the new ScoutingWire.
This site was developed the Boy Scouts of America in an effort to improve the Scouting experience and the exchange of important information among our employees and volunteers. It is designed to provide our employees and volunteers with the tools and resources they need to be successful in serving youth.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the ideas that have flowed through our blog communications thus far, and I encourage all of our employees and volunteers to share their thoughts about Chief’s Corner on ScoutingWire. I’ll be sharing my thoughts, ideas and insight as well to keep the conversation flowing.
I hope you’ll find ScoutingWire easy to navigate with an abundance of resources to help you deliver a quality Scouting experience to your units. I’ll be back soon with more!
Yours in Scouting,
