Welcome New Scout Executive to the Tuscarora Council

Join us in congratulating Jason Smith, who will serve as Scout Executive of the Tuscarora Council in Goldsboro, NC, starting Oct. 16, 2015.

Jason began his Scouting career as the Exploring executive at the Heart of Virginia Council in Richmond, VA. He then became a district executive, senior district executive, and later field director with the Heart of Virginia Council.

Jason is an Eagle Scout who enjoys camping, hunting, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Erika, have three children.

As Jason joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of the Tuscarora Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities they serve, wish him well in the comments below!
