West Tennessee Area Council Announces New Scout Executive, Adrian Hackett

Join us in congratulating Adrian A. Hackett as the new Scout executive of the West Tennessee Area Council in Jackson, TN, effective December 1.

Adrian began his Scouting career as a program director at the Colonial Virginia Council in Newport News, VA. He moved on to become a district executive and later field director and reservation director with the Colonial Virginia Council. He then was promoted to assistant Scout executive and COO of the Cherokee Area Council in Chattanooga, TN.

Adrian, a Star Scout, grew up in the Scouting program and served as junior leader training SPL and worked on various camp staffs as a youth and adult.

Adrian and his wife, Leah, have two sons, Andrew and Asher. He enjoys boating, live music, sporting events, supporting his church, and spending time with his family.

Help us welcome Adrian as he joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of the West Tennessee Area Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities they serve.
